Organizational Advisory & Assessment

You know technology should be doing more for your organization. But between competing platforms, competing priorities, and a team that's already stretched thin, figuring out where to start can feel impossible. That's where we come in.

01

A Clear-Eyed Look at Your Technology

Look, good process analysis starts with listening. We sit down with your team, not just leadership, to understand how work actually flows through your organization. The tools you're using, the workarounds people have invented, the spreadsheets that somehow became mission-critical. All of it.

From there, we map what you have against what you need. Whether you're running Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com, Airtable, or a patchwork of tools held together by good intentions, we've seen it. Sometimes the most impactful improvements are features you already have but aren't fully using. Other times, the assessment reveals bigger gaps. Either way, you get an honest answer.

02

A Roadmap That Fits Your Team

We don't hand over a 50-page report and wish you luck. The roadmap we build is prioritized by impact and phased around your team's actual capacity. What can you tackle this quarter? What needs a budget cycle? What should wait?

Every recommendation is built around your organization's size, budget, and internal expertise. We explain the "why" behind each one, because you'll be the ones making decisions long after our engagement ends.

Sound like what you need?

Let's start with a conversation. Just tell us what you're working on.

Let's Talk

Who It's For

You might need organizational advisory if:

  • Your technology feels like it's held together with duct tape and good intentions
  • You've been asked to "go digital" but nobody's defined what that means for your team
  • You're about to make a big technology purchase and want an independent perspective first
  • Leadership wants a technology roadmap but your IT capacity is one person (or zero)
  • You've outgrown your current systems and honestly aren't sure what the next step looks like
  • A funder or board is asking about your technology strategy and you need something concrete to share

Common Questions

What does a technology assessment actually include?

We review your current systems, staff workflows, data practices, and organizational goals. We interview key team members, audit your tools, and produce a prioritized roadmap with clear next steps. Not a binder that collects dust. Most assessments take 4 to 8 weeks depending on your organization's size.

Do we have to implement your recommendations?

Not at all. The assessment and roadmap are yours to use however you want. Some clients move forward with us on implementation. Others take the roadmap to their board or use it to guide an RFP. There's no commitment beyond the advisory engagement itself.

How is this different from hiring a consultant who sells software?

We don't sell software. We don't get commissions from Salesforce, HubSpot, or any other vendor. Our recommendations are based on what fits your team, not what pays us the most. That independence is the whole point.

How long does the full advisory process take?

A focused assessment typically runs 4 to 8 weeks. A more in-depth engagement that includes strategic planning and change management could extend to 3 to 6 months. We'll scope it together before anything starts so there are no surprises.

What do we actually get at the end?

You get a technology roadmap document, a systems audit summary, and a presentation for your leadership team or board. The roadmap includes prioritized recommendations, estimated timelines, and a realistic view of what implementation would require. And we walk through it with you, not just email it over.
